Mind the gap!

Someone said the greatest distance a person can travel is between their heart and mind. I believe it is time that we ‘Mind that gap’ with more intention.

Balance

Our minds are but the Colosseum of our existence.
There we celebrate our reality or stand in pretense.
Where we fight our fears, nightmares and hurt.
In our minds we live. But death lies in our heart!

That powerful symphony, mind and heart in company.
Beyond the reason of many, do both conquer aplenty.
When the mind sneezes, the heart catches a cold.
Alive in our heart and mind, our lives we mold.

By fleeing our comfort zone we are reborn.
Makes no sense the heart and mind to groan.
Twins intricately created to breath, grow, and move.
Their depth, heart and mind, a life becomes proof.

May your soul inspire your thought.
And your mind embrace life brought.
May it grab at your deepest emotion.
And spring in you un-imagined action.
